love the aesthetic, and the idea that you're playing as two people in cyberspace smashing and salvaging data is pretty cool! it's a neat twist on an old concept, although i would've liked to seen a little bit more done with it. pong stuff has been done quite a lot, so getting REALLY creative and/or crazy with it is def encouraged!
i'm also pretty bad at pong so even medium difficulty felt suuuper difficult as the round went on
Thanks for the nice comment! But you're not bad at pong at all, But this does mean my difficulty trick worked! It wasn't designed for people good at pong, more at people who can handle hectic situations, since the "data" that's destroyed spawns up to 3 more. Even i had to ask my artist to help out on testing, but this evening (In Greenwich timezone time) I'm going to upload a build that adds a singleplayer mode, A bit more playable. I'm uploading it as a seperate project, since, Come on, otherwise ir'd be cheating.
I am very sorry for the lack of a web build, but unity isn't having it lately, so a downloadable version will have to do for now.
Edit: I can't get any sort of web version working, I'm very sorry!
I had a similar problem. It helped to change the compression format (under publishing settings in the player settings) to Gzip
Sad to announce that any compression format failed to load in the game correctly, but this is a game jam game so I'm not making my hands dirty if there's no real need for it.
