Briefly describe your project
Inspired from historical monument that generates Music when we tap the pillar. Explore the relic at Niantic Bellevue office in fun and interactive way. User can generate the drum beat sound by tapping the relic. with hand at various parts of the relic. The purpose and goal of my project is to improve the exploration more fun and interactive. It also stimulates our touch and hearing senses.

How did you innovate on this product (VPS/ARDK features)?
Used Lightship VPS, Hand tracking and Remote Authoring features to develop this experience. Lightship VPS adds anchor Prefabs and the interactive assets around the Physical relic Wayspot. Hand tracking provides the 2D position of the hand on the screen. Using the math I calculated the approximate 3d Position of the hand. When hand is placed on the relic, program triggers a different sound at each part of the relic.

How did you use Remote Authoring or Maps Beta? (Optional)
I used Relic wayspot near Bellevue Office. I used Remote Authoring to place the content.

How does it speak to Niantic's mission? (Optional)
This app improves the exploration experience very interesting, fun and improves the curiosity to explore more and more.

How complete is your project? (Optional)
There are no public and active wayspots available near my location to test. So for now I implemented only using the relic Wayspot. This project can be implemented procedurally at large scale.

This would be a lot of fun to try out in person! Would be fascinating to see how different people interact and what sounds they create :)
