i like ikea tetris cool idea

(1 edit) (+1)

Intetesting idea but strange system plus primitively processed. Creativity 1 / 5 (zero can not be rated). It looks like real Ikea furniture. Theme  4 / 5. As the furniture falls through the "floor" you can not see its tower, so  it is not a fair-play. Fun 1 / 5.

Feel free to respectfully rate all my games!:)

Thank you so much for the response! As my first game jam game i think this gives me so much to work with. I get the creativity since the game except for the name is 1 to 1, from the furniture to even the color scheme. But i would like to adress the "furniture falling through the floor", the floor is there allways, but after 2nd point it goes down by y value of the next object so the camera stays on the same level as the new spawned furniture piece, and the so called "floor" is just a sprite with little less opacity so you can know where the platform actually is. My original idea was to make camera go smoothly up instead of hard going down but since i pretty much dont have any time this week i needed to finish it quickly, so i did what i did. Anyways i thank you so much because as i said this was my first game jam, dont take this as anything bad to you.

The camera should go down for the player to be able to see the furniture tower - at least its top part. Let me admit, that if I put away the unfair feel of the current solution, it's quite a challenge. I would just make it more fair to the player, at least move the camera once down - and then back to the upper position.

Did you tried my game? It's kind of surprise, because it's not a video game. Am I the only one brave / crazy enough to submit such a game among all video games?;)
