What was your theme you chose?!
Two - "A game where you slide numbers for the mega-bonus" and "A game where you drag and drop restaurants to create a sprawling industry"
Any obstacles you found while working that were hard to overcome?
Building even basic AI was really tough, I was running into a lot of bugs from the restaurant placement interactions.
Anything you had to ultimately cut from the game due to time or lack of knowledge?
'Hard mode' AI wasn't as advanced as I wanted it to be, and the art is severely lacking.
Anything really cool you learned?
AI was really fun (I'm sensing a pattern here...), and setting up a tutorial system with triggers for each message to appear was something I hadn't done as in-depth before this weekend either.
Do you think you will continue this project?
I'm definitely interested, although I have never been good with art and I feel like that's what is holding the game (and me) back from doing more. I have a few ideas of improvements so depending on feedback/interest there's a good chance I will take it beyond the jam. Oh and, erm, something something AI?
