  • The concept here is solid, and the lighting and environment is fantastic. There isn't much more to be done to this to make it a pitchable demo! I would focus on polishing the character animation and getting the grapple and platforming to feel better, and maybe switching the time leap button to be LMB? This is ace though!
  • Really nice idea and graphics, but some assets are arranged in a particularly challenging way.
  • Great concept. Very well presented, although esc->pause and an ingame pause screen controls list would've helped me at first! Great to see a custom character and animations. Good music and great atmospheric sound (needs the looping flag!). Pickup sounds would help with player encouragement. Not convinced you needed the grapple; there was more you could have done with jumping and barriers in the two worlds level design (e.g. jump and phase while in air) without having to come up with the tricky grappling sections. Impressive regardless, would love to see more about the story of the world, told through the environments. Great sense of movement in the backgrounds and some good lighting touches. Super.
  • I really enjoyed playing this game! It has a beautiful and captivating concept with lovely visuals. The audio is great and I particularly like the sound effect when leaping between time zones. The controls are simple and easy to pick up, though it could be beneficial to explain them in the game. A few things to consider: Allow the player to go back if they miss a box, I found it slightly frustrating that I had to restart the level because I missed the first box. At some points, the character was lost behind the assets. I'd love to see the player come up against larger obstacles, for example one of the obstacles was a door and I wondered why the character couldn't just go through it. It would be great to see the collected items come together at the end to see what the player has achieved/unlocked. Over all, a great game which I would love to see developed further.
  • The visuals to this game are aesthetically pleasing and are well made. I like the idea of moving through two different time periods and it made progressing through the level more challenging. The lighting added to the environment and the different styles between the two time periods aided in this transition. The grapple hook was hard to use and could do with some work on it but the rest of the movement felt great. I see great potential in this game, with a good narrative, bugs ironed out on the mechanics and as the art direction is there, this would be a great side scrolling game for the switch / PC. Great little game, well done!
