I like the idea of a switching mechanic and general. The general implementation (as you said) also needs work. A few questions to get you started on improving the game:

  • What textures do you want to add for the background and platforms? The game would look much better with them.
  • Do you want to mark enemies you can switch with and those which are always hostile differently?
  • How can you make combat more engaging?
  • How can the movement of the player be fine-tuned?

Well done for making your previous work better. Iteration is key to making games. (or anything really!)

Very cool idea, I love a good switching mechanic. I'd personally pull the camera out a bit or lower the jump height. Nice job!

Nice sprites, and I wasn't expecting the music to change like that. It was cool! not sure what was going on with the switching, but I hope you keep at it!

That's a cool project if you just started learning. I wish you would put more time into it and the music is very repetitive if you can please work on that too but overall good game.

i will look into changing the music thanks alot!

very cool concept, i think you didn't have much time since you uploaded it 4 days before the deadline so it's really impressive, there are some flaws but for a beginner and made in 3 days it's really cool!
