How was Houdini used in your game's development?
I used it pretty much for all of the 3d assets ... There is no asset used except for lava texture and skybox texture that havent been done by houdini. Of course the shaders had to be made in Unity. Oh, and for some of the Houdini screenshots, I posted some of my progress on twitter https://twitter.com/reichman_j ... I usually dont post anything so they will be on top!
Besides Houdini, what other tools did you use and what did you use them for?
Unity, and after I made the character with houdini, I exported it to blender and made a fast rig. Everything else in game was made either with the tools from you, or some adjusted versions of it, and of course quite a few own things that have been made in houdini during the jam, DOP anim of the cave falling in and then exported as VAT, the entire cave model, the fractured floor, character, islands...
As for the mazes, I used http://www.mazegenerator.net/ to generate png textures of a maze and rebuild it with trace inside houdini to the form you can see in game ... you can see all the things in the attached houdini files.
The music was picked from an asset pack from unity store.
The Character controller script was from one of the standard unity assets, but slightly adjusted for the game. All of the other mechanics were programmed during the jam
List any content that was created before the jam that was included in the final submission.
Everything was done during the jam, I didnt use any other assets except the ones provided by you and the ones mentioned on the previous answer.
