How was Houdini used in your game's development?
We used Houdini to create everything except for the sounds, fonts, and materials. All modeling was done in Houdini (including the character) and we also utilized a procedural workflow to create our level layouts. We created our VFX using the fluid sim tools, pyro tools, and RBDs. All of our hip files and videos of them are in the HoudiniRequirements.zip on the game page.
Besides Houdini, what other tools did you use and what did you use them for?
We used Mixamo to rig and animate our character, Maya to block out the doors in our levels and reassign pivot points that got messed up in export from Houdini, and Substance Painter to texture some of our assets while the rest were giving basic materials in Unreal. We also used photoshop to distort the Pyro sheet to look more stylized instead of a realistic explosion.

We got our Music from clipdad, our sound effects from ProSound Effects, and also used premade fonts.
