Briefly explain your games interpretation of the theme?
Well... It takes me back to the long-ago days when these were the best games I've ever played. And there are some bits at the beginning that also invoked some old memories - #IYKYK

How much CODE (text or visual) did you make?

All

You created all of the code from scratch (excluding game engine)

How much of the game's ART did you make?

All

You created all of the art assets seen in game (not with AI)

How much of the game's SOUND effects did you make?

None

You didn't create any sound effects - you used existing audio for your game

How much of the game's MUSIC did you make?

All

You created all of the music heard in game (not with AI)

Other comments (Code / Art / Sound / Audio)
The windows version is recommended but the web version should work fine, just make sure it is in full screen mode.

It's my first real multiplayer game, so it may not work properly. But I did test it a bunch so I think it will be fine. All testing was done by a comprehensive team of testers consisting of - ME.

I also created a 'console' for the start of the game. This part may break, but I hope it doesn't.

Aren't you awesome for being creative and taking part?

Yup

Definitely felt like an old Sierra Game or text-command based adventure from the 90's. Like stated by the developer, the web version has some display issues; however, the Windows version of the game could also be run locally on Linux through WINE :-)
Due to the multiplayer character, playing the game alone is not possible, so my testing possibilities were a bit limited. In addition, a list of words/commands that are understood would have been really helpful. But I guess, nostalgia applies also in this context: Trying every possible combination or syntax one could imagine to get the action one wants, like in the old days ;-)
Overall: A very nice idea, which will hopefully be extended/worked upon outside of the game jam. I would be really keen to see the author's intention come fully alive.

The Nostalgia was on point. Looking at a CLI and being super lost on what to do. I kind of skilled a lot of games until it was point and click. Even then as a kid those were too hard, at least the ones I played.

Thank you for playing! I wish I had time to add more content but alas. I remember a long time ago when I saw people typing away at the command prompt and thinking they’re too clever because how is anyone supposed to know what to type. Glad I could confuse you once again
