- Despite the static air movement and the awkward controls for the walljump, I had great fun controlling the player character and getting through the levels. I think you set the difficulty curve way too steep, but I never felt too frustrated to keep on trying. The bugs I encountered were minor and you did a great job on presentation too. Make the animations and music work properly and it will improve drastically! While the theme is a little far fetched it's an interesting concept you proposed. Also nailing a good character controller is no easy task, but you did a solid job which is quite impressive!
- Design/Gameplay: Basic Platformer, although the explosion mechanic was neat. 4/5 Polish: Music, Menu, (Separate) Tutorial was there, as well as some SFX and VFX. But no animations, the wall jump feels clunky and neither the tutorial nor the main game are escapable. 3/5 Presentation: Nice visuals, music is nice (not selfmade though), blank itch page. 3/5 Technical: Movement is very restricted (no movement in air, was that planned?), walljump feels rather buggy, high jump only once per life (intentional? if yes, not visible), hitbox seems rather big. 2/5 Theme: It is implied that you destroy yourself to overcome the obstacles, but I can't see anything from it in the game. I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and believe you (since then it would make sense to only have one big jump etc.). 3/5 (deduction for not actually showing the theme)
