  • Simple but well executed, I would've liked the ability to speed up to more quickly cover flat areas
  • Always love to see custom tech rolled with sdl! no Controller Support no accessibility/screen/resolution options tedious reset back to start graphical complexity is bare, some simple parallax bg graphics would add an easy boost to visuals + make sense of speed read easier.
  • Interesting idea, although the gameplay needs some work. Perhaps give the player control over the speed you move through the level - or at least the ability to speed it up. It starts a bit too slowly. Like that the control scheme is hyper simple - so it should be easy to pick up and play. With some work it has the hallmarks of being a "The Helicopter Game" style game, which is a really good "just one more go" type game :) I wasn't keen on the audio - it was a bit unbalanced and disjoint :s There were 2 downloads on the itch page - hopefully I downloaded the correct one (26MB). I also noticed a "install this first" exe lurking amongst the game files - consider adding a concise ReadMe.txt file to the top level of the game files and/or to the itch page so it's clear what we're supposed to do to play the game. As it happened, I didn't need the install to play the game. :) Excellent that your presentation included a short gameplay video, in addition to the pictures and description.
