Judge feedback

Judge feedback is anonymous and shown in a random order.

  • - Great to see lots of 2D detail in the documentation - Has plenty of detail regarding gameplay locations and the critical mission path - Good detail on objectives, enemy spawns and loot locations - Would possibly benefit from individual top downs of each Critical area so more detail can be added. - Good detail on establishing playable and non-playable area Areas for improvement - The blockout scale itself felt proportionally correct but in comparison to your top downs felt much smaller, unsure if this was a change once it was in-engine - There is lots of detail in your topdowns but much of it is missing from the blockout itself - It would be really great to see blockouts of gameplay locations, adding your player base, enemies and enemy nest and loot for example. Consider use of colour to detail terrain type in your level, the river is already well communicated and just needs expanding to the terrain.
  • Had to look for the documentation on the website, however once found, was a good document. Believe the actual map itself though could of done with a little more, even if just store assets, to show basics of the map ideas and layouts, as its quite empty
  • No documentation in the downloads / submission - exists on portfolio website but as I'm going off of submitted files, doesn't do a lot of good there. Unable to run .exe - thus unable to play / judge submission with work submitted. Attempted to run it via Unreal Engine 4 editor - but failed to load on the version I have to hand. Project submitted 8 days / 17 hours before deadline, plenty of time to create a working .exe file that runs without relying on end user having perfect working set up of submitted files.
