Judge feedback

Judge feedback is anonymous and shown in a random order.

  • No documentation found Gameplay a bit hard to understand whats going on or what i am suppose to do
  • The core mechanic is a fun concept and plays well, the pinball side of things is well made and feels how you would expect however the shooting lacks variation, you can get all the guns pretty much straight away and they all feel pretty much the same gameplay wise. Consider adding different particles and screen shake feedback for variation.
  • Really creative idea! On visuals, gameplay and detail, there's a lot of juice here. It's clear that you invested a lot of time into all the small corners of the game. Wanted to jump in and play based on the screenshots alone. The little touches like enemies abseiling in, needing to hit the bullet on the map to reload, using parts of the environment to trigger things that would otherwise work in a UI (really nice!), there's a lot to like. Fantastic job!
  • No documentation in submitted files - no documentation to view. Control scheme is very clunky but is very fun as well, unique well implemented art style that's functional and easy to follow. Feels like "Gun physics" exploiting could be worked into the game a bit more - having to hit the ammo token to reload feels like it should be a power up and have reload on a button press instead. each level has very clear layouts and goals - though some could be telegraphed a bit better (the shop robbery - don't know how much i need to steal, didn't feel like i was making progress - bank however - all very good) few polish points (you can shoot yourself off the board with the shotgun when you drop in) and general bugs but overall very well structured & executed project.
  • This concept is slick and very well executed. I've found myself returning to play this game a few times which is a good thing. The simple addition to the standard pinball formula of allowing the ball to shoot is a small but very interesting change that innovates on the core gameplay in a positive way. Wrapping it up in a heist theme was a perfect thematic match as well. This game gives me some Hotline Miami Vibes for sure. The controller controls could have benefitted from a twin-stick free-aim though. With more levels, content and polish, you could probably sell this. I couldn't find any documentation, so I was unable to judge it.
