- Great overall level of polish! Visuals were on point and helped to create a good sense of atmosphere. Clever level design and use of puzzles kept me engaged as I progressed, and was very nice to see opening of doors etc properly messaged - made the flow of the level easy to follow. The difficulty/balance wasn't too punishing for a new player, and the Shop skill tree meta layer gave me choices and felt rewarding. Main area I'd have loved to have seen improved was the moment-to-moment combat. Enemies didn't seem particularly clever or varied in their behaviors, and occasionally didn't seem to notice me at all. The boss was a real wow moment but felt slightly let down by how easily I managed to outwit them. Attacking with the sword and bow would have been a lot more satisfying if key player feedbacks like the Animation and VFX were dialled up a notch and developed further. Overall though, was a fun experience and enjoyed playing!
- Very well-made game, the graphics look fantastic. Attention to detail including enemy hit damage from other enemy's arrows is great too.
- Very polished and enjoyable game. Controller support and difficulty scaling for the final boss would have served to elevate the experience I feel. Also sometimes it wasn't clear what items were when picking then up. Otherwise this game was very well executed.
- Nice camera cut effect so the player is always visible! Cool level design and artistic look and feel! I like the nod to Dark Souls using the fires as checkpoints 😊
