  • Looks good in general. Some music during the actual gameplay would have been an improvement. Multiple levels would have been nice. Good job with the UI and HUD.
  • This was a very ambitious project, covering a lot of areas, and doing them all fairly well. The gameplay mechanics are well known and they work, and the UI was clear and useful. I just wish there had been a playable demo, to enable me to explore the game further, and take in the project at my own pace. It's tough to accurately assess something like this without it. It took some digging to find the many videos on your YouTube channel, which were insightful, and helped to get a picture of your progress, but it would have been good not to have to turn detective to find those! Some sort of dev diary or vlog, explaining the technical aspects of what you've done, would have been a great addition.
  • A bit of a mixed of different games - the core elements are there. But the interface, camera and movement controls look too clunky to meet the requirements of a RTS. I'd expect to see animated character movement when using Unreal.
  • Really excited to see a UI based project! It's obvioulsy complex and does an excellent job of conveying the information that's needed, with a good mix of UI over particular elements in the world and as HUD elements fixed to the screen. I really liked the 3D menu as you come through the doors of the castle and that other menus are placed around the castle. It seems to be an excellent method of presenting an RTS game on a controller! I really like that you did a little play threw video for your demonstration, consider adding a playable download so people can see the depths of the project. I had a little look through your YouTube channel and found loads of videos of how you built up the project - I think those would be an excellent addition to your portfolio and this presentation. Also consider adding some voice over or textual notes the videos to convey what you're showing us a bit more clearly - the principles you used to build the project and your aims for the different UI elements. Excellent choice to add some music and sound effects!
  • Too bad all assets aren't in. A playable demo would have been much appreciated. A design/technical documentation as well. (You've got a better rating because I found more video in your youtube channel... next time try to better present it! especially if you already have the resources)
  • The UI is readable and clear and looks like it works well, the only issues I could spot with the UI was when the selecting units cursor was in range of more than one unit it was showing (X) Unit Stats over two units. If the unit stats could only appear over one unit at a time would be good unless you can view multiple units stats are the same time. Making UI for an RTS with a controller in mind isn't an easy task and it seems like you have handled it well. Presentation could have been done better, the images and video are good but a description and breakdown of the UI would have been nice and any issues you encountered while making this.
  • - Seemed technically advanced - Game mechanics and UX were well considered; good gamepad navigation and gameplay controls - Could be a shippable game idea with some further development - Feels like a classic mobile game, adapted for console - No demo exe, no clear links to devblogs (found on YouTube after a search), no docs brought down presentation quality
