  • A nice aesthetic that could benefit from a bit more life. - I nice use of bubbles to break up some of the shots. It would be nice to see some marine life. - Adding some shells / star fish etc could break up the sand. - I like story and this research base has been set up just outside the cave. It would be nice to see some more equipment, crates, mini sub etc
  • Very interesting project and great topic to explore. Reminds me movie The Abyss movie in style and technology used. Good variation of nature and man made assets and high level of story telling. Good variation of materials used and props propagation across the whole scene. Underwater settings make it a bit more difficult to see the whole scene. You need to put even more emphasis on helping people to "navigate" thru your scene. Lighting is your best friend and maybe toning down the "underwater" look a bit. It doe not have to be a real world simulation, use it for artistic purposes.
  • The underwater environment is very atmospheric. It would be good to see some gifs or videos of the environment showcasing the water materials, bubble particles and any post material effects being shown off. It really sells the underwater environment mood when you can see all of the water effects together. You should look at putting some environmental storytelling into your work to give it context to ground it in reality for the viewer - who lives/works in this environment? Why is it underwater? What is its history and what makes it interesting to the audience? I'd recommend you do a breakdown of the animated assets you've created and showcase it on your portfolio to show off your technical ability - the bubble vfx, post material work and water material work.
