  • A stylised aesthetic that adds a touch of realism through the use of materials and roughness values. - I really like the bed design for the most part, it is easily the most accomplished asset in the scene. I would question if that is a ladder or a shelf. I assume this would become clear with props. Maybe consider a different design for where the pillow is. There's currently a pretty big gap behind the pillow. Make better use of this space. In the night I'd imagine the pillow falling into this space. - The units on the side. Watch out for hard edges on the sides. Right now its looknig pretty sharp. - Floor: Theres a beam on the floor that while I appreciate the detail, I would make sure that is fitting flush with the rest of the floor. Someone is going to trip over that when they get out of bed. - Look into edge wear. Please don't go over the top, just a subtle break up along some edges would be nice. Especially with the panel lines, they are getting lost atm. Keep going with this, its going to be nice to see. Break up the colours with changes in material types. E.g. orange could be matte, white could be gloss etc. It will really help.
  • Nice renders and good texturing and modelling. You display your work really well with taking time over the lighting and have made a smart choice to create a small scene whilst keeping the textures clean and avoiding noisey details. I would recommend you concentrate on adding more environmental storytelling to your scenes- it will help to compose your shots and give depth to your environments to make them feel more lived in. Adding just a few key environmental props will show off more of your technical modeling and texturing skills which will look good on your portfolio. The breakdown gifs and texture trim sheets work really to show your abilities - it would be nice to see some more breakdown of your material workflow where you can show off more technical skills i.e. showing your understanding of working with vertex colors to tint assets, or to reveal dirt/dust textures to environments, which adds variation to break up modularity.
