  • Excellent designs and very well presented. The animations go a long way to showing that you have a great understanding of owning the character art pipeline. Everything looks great. For me I'd just say that a few more nuances in the forms of the faces or in the surface details could take this a long way to making it more of a work of art with warmth and life, but there is great potential here and a great standard of design that has been reached, and it shows great passion, ability and results produced from hard work that perform well.
  • Mesh 4: really good modelling skills, from the high-poly to the re-topology. Really nice, also, the breakdown of Ysera. The meshes are optimized on a professional level and work really well in animation,In most cases the high-poly matches the reference and it reflects the overall feeling of the character. It would have been a 5 but the Safari Huntress model lowered the score : The symmetry on the clothing folds makes the model a bit boring and artificial Some of the model details would have had a better outcome if modeled separated. The details, in general, seem a bit rushed The facial features do not fully reflect the overall feeling of the original concept Material 4: The textures seem really well thought and the details are really well distributed, you can definitely understand what to model and what to map. A few notes: You could work a bit more on the color variations of the diffuse of Ysera. The scattering map of the Punk Cat seems off, it would have been nice to start from a thickness map first. For the Uvs I would suggest to reduce the number of Uvs islands so that you can decrease the overall vertex count in the engine. Again the Safari Huntress textures lowered a bit the score: The hair normal is a bit off The details of the outfit, again, seem a bit rushed and not really well thought, especially the connection between the skin and the fabric. Presentation 4: Really well presented: you gave all the information needed for me to be able to rate the work, It would have been nice to see a bit more close ups of the high-poly models and maybe remove some of the in-game shots since you already gave the opportunity to turn around the model in sketchfab. The Safari Huntress ( in general is the weakest piece): the pose shot doesn't head up with the rest of the images, it may be worth removing it. It may be worth moving the strongest pieces on the top, as for example the cat.
  • A good body of work to review with lots colour and personality. It was important that a humanoid character was included to add extra breadth to the portfolio. I would like to see you adding more over time, they don’t have to be photoreal. Good to see some untextured geometry and wireframes. When posing a model for a portfolio piece such as the Safari Huntress lying down on the floor pay attention to deformation – the shoulder area looks a bit distorted and stands out. Also her facial expression feels really asymmetrical in this pose, a lot more life and character could be added here by some small adjustments.
  • Great selection of work. Presentation is top notch. I like how clearly you've broke your work down into hi poly, texturing, game topology etc. The Murloc especially is an excellent piece. It'd be great to see how you'd approach a realistic character
