  • great reel!
  • Dance test was well animated, very fluid actions. Great overall concept of the game, would like to play myself. In regards to the lip sync, I couldn't hardly see the mouth move. Was hard to see if the sound and lips synced up. Maybe when animating make the movements a little more exaggerated. Overall great work, was a pleasure to watch.
  • Interesting mix of different characters and movement. Good use motion capture on the gaming character. All the best for your future in animation
  • Character rig setups are extremely simple, demonstrating little to no technical ability. Skinning issues are very apparent too. Animations work well in game as they are simple cycles for that game style. Not fully clear what student has contributed to for the motion capture character. Presuming it is the technical demonstration of taking motion capture data and mapping it onto a character ( either a custom rig or skeletal bones ) Is this character a free download ? or created by the student. Either way it would be useful to see the technical set up of this process to demonstrate some kind of technical process/ability. Right now all that can be seen is a character with motion capture data mapped onto it. Lip sync performance has not been executed well, it fails to show any form of facial performance that relates to the audio/speech. Zero performance in the characters body.
  • Lip sync just didn't work. No additional info about rigs or how much of the mo-cap was from stock models? Dog was basic and rubbery. Game engine built or sourced? Need additional info to assess correctly.
