How does your submission match the theme?
In Reckless Velocity, your moves and attacks are one and the same. Firing your cannon mows down targets in front of you and lets you rocket across the field. Dropping a bomb damages all enemies around you and launches you into the air where you’re safe from attacks. Even turning left or right buffets enemies with a shower of shrapnel. You need to figure out how to best use your moves to dodge enemy attacks and fight back at the same time.

In addition, your health and weapon charges are tracked on the same meter. The more damage you take the stronger you’ll be able to make your attacks, and the more you keep your health up the harder time you’ll have keeping it there as your mobility drops.

And as the subtitle suggests, your health pickups serve double duty as well. You can increase the effect of health packs by dealing damage to them. While a fresh health pack will barely alleviate a single un-dodged shot, a well-worn pack can put you back in the fight from the brink of destruction. Do enough damage to a pack and you can trade in its healing power for a devastating explosion that will wipe out any enemies in range.
