This game fits because our Goat is literally built to scale! You also create a build through upgrades to scale the mountain faster and more efficiently.

I like the artstyle and idea, well done!
A little hard to control, but a very fun little game. :3
I think there is a solid core here, but the goat is a little too slippery at times to really feel like you're making precise jumps. Also, dying in later levels sending you back to the first level makes it a bit more frustrating than it could have been otherwise when learning how new enemies work. I think you need more than one health to start out with so you can make mistakes with the first level enemies so it doesn't feel like you suddenly clip the wrong part of one and die, and then maybe a drop shadow beneath the Goat so you know where he's going to land.
There's a solid little platformer here but it's definitely a little too frustrating to wrap your head around the essentials of how to get the game to work. On the other hand I wanna speedrun it because I'm weird but I think the threat of the cloud makes learning the game as a newcomer extremely frustrating before you get that point of mastery. Like, first time playing it I died to that yellow bird in world 2 because I thought I just have to jump on it like the red ones, died and whoops back to level 1 and just closed it out of annoyance.
Nice art style and a good general idea. Better background and some more UX will make the game better

I liked it a lot! I'm not very good at platformers so I died pretty early on every time. I would've loved to see some walking animations for the goat (the jumping animation was really nice) and maybe some parallax on the background, but I think with some more time to polish the game this would be elevated to new heights (yes, that's a pun). Great job! Congrats on finishing the jam!
Thanks so much for the play! We actually do have a little walking animation in there, but this will definitely serve as a suggestion to make it a little more pronounced lol. We were actually pretty heavily discussing parallax but fell short on time to implement it how we wanted it, so it's great to hear it's not just us! This combination of climbing and platforming resulted in a very enjoyable gameplay, even without upgrades! (never managed to collect enough trash so couldn't afford any)
