I liked the music and sprites for the game but I was very confused on what the win conditions were of the game. I kept getting a Game Over screen, but was not told how I lost? 2 of the ghost mechanics seemed to not be implemented at all, sprites clipped into each other, and overall I had no sense of direction. Was I supposed to dirty the place up? But the janitor didn't interact with any of the messes I made. Running into the janitor made me gain new abilities but running into him 4 times got me a game over. Taking too long (?) got me a game over. While I understand the objective I don't understand how to complete it, if there is any rewards for doing so, what actually acts as a threat and what helps me progress. No instructions, minimal guidance, and I wish I could say I had fun but it seemed like the game was about 2 minutes long and that's all it had to offer. Again, music was awesome (I loved the layering as I progressed I think??) and the death effect was also really nice. The sprites were very fun, they had a lot of character in them. Overall though it seems like a prototype as opposed to a finished game jam submission. I would have liked to see a more spooky atmosphere in the game and some more interactivity, or at the very least enough gameplay to push the game further than a 2 minute playtime.
