  • Very impressive game. Very original concept, great art direction and surprisingly complete for a game jam game! You got a lot done in a very short amount of time! I like the idea that you have to perform a ritual based on your intuition. The basic mechanic of leaving things in the right room, making the character actually perform a ritual works very well. I really like the main character's sprite. That's my single most favorite piece of art from this entire game jam. Whoever did the sprite art is very good. Here are some things that I think could be improved. I felt that the character's view range ran down a bit too quickly. It meant that I had to keep replaying and dying until I could perform the ritual quickly. It's less fun for me when a game is asking you to basically speed run it through memory. For me that goes against the idea that you're performing a ritual based off of intuition. Also, as much as I like your art direction, i found the game over image of the little girl getting stabbed to be a bit too much. When you are older and you have kids of your own, or you have nieces and nephews that you love, the image of a dead child can feel a bit cheap. Like an easy shortcut to make the player feel upset. This is just my own personal reaction, take it in context with many other opinions, mine isn't the correct one, it's just one reaction of many. Overall your game is very impressive! One of the best in the game jam. I hope your team sticks together and keeps making games. In fact, if you polish this game (refine the controls, difficulty, add some sound FX) i think you'll have a very cool prototype in your hands! Thank you for participating in our game jam. I hope you;ll keep in touch via the Chiang Mai Game Jam discord as well. Let's build a great indie game dev community in Thailand!

Just complete this game!
I really like it though there are some in-game bugs(complete items show swap in place) but consider the limited time, developer did a really great job on this one.

if you're going to make another games beside this one,I will definitely play it for sure.

Hey, lead programmer here. Thanks for playing (and finishing) the game!

Yes, limited development time was the biggest obstacle we faced. While the core gameplay is completely finished and working as intended, we couldn't polish the game up to our expected standard. (visual bugs, literally no in-game sounds, the doll getting stuck to the wall, etc.) Still, it was a great time working on this game. :)

Our team currently has no plan to make a new game. We are still trying to get along and form a proper team.  Maybe in a future game jam, we'll see!

As for me, I am personally working on a hardcore 2D top-down co-op shooter with the other team. Keep your eyes open for the future!

Good day,
