Pros Really unique and innovative game concept with you racing against your past self. Driving is enjoyable and balanced well, important given that it is the core verb of the game. Sound effect used is great and is mapped to the movement speed really well. Cons Level design doesn't support mobility all that well, there are too many sharp corners that are difficult to maneuver around. Hitting a wall can be glitchy, also breaking the flow of the race. Time mechanic could be introduced earlier on to engage players who are familiar with racing games, as aside from that this is a standard racing game. There's a pretty significant difficulty spike that occurs when your previous self is spawned, caused by the lack of warning and indication alongside the instant contact death. Before this, there are no other hazards outside of driving out of the map. Maybe health could be added, and some kind of cutscene showing the spawn of the past car (as long as this cutscene doesn't intrude on the pacing of the game.) Visuals are really lackluster and uninteresting. UI, while showing what is needed, is plain and exhibits no style. Colours blend together fine, but still don't appear as anything amazing. This was a decent racing game with an extremely innovative concept! There's a lot of potential to expand this gameplay concept into something larger. Looking forward to your future games!
