Short description of the game
Game starts with you driving home from work, radio talks about missing people at certain area. You think you need to get home quicker because you live near that area. Go home, cook food, sit at TV. Hear knocking. Answer door, possible jump scare 1. Neighbour tells you your garage door was left open. When you go out to turn them off, hear screaming in distance. Looking down the street, you see your neighbours corspe and a beast running toward you. Run into the house.
You try locking the door, power goes out. You are stuck with a flashlight to find the breaker box and switch the power back on. Upon finding the breaker in the basement, you see it's been clawed. The beast is in the basement with you, you try getting around the beast, and lock it into the basement. As you turn around to leave, you hear it scream, and looking outside the front window, you see a pack of the same beast looking into the house, glowing eyes.
Theme
The theme of "Missing" in our game is evident through the radio reports about missing people in the area and the neighbor's warning about the open garage. As the player investigates, the discovery of a neighbor's corpse and encounters with mysterious beasts add to the sense of things being amiss. The power outage and the search for the clawed breaker box in the basement further emphasize the theme, creating an atmosphere of suspense and mystery tied to the concept of missing persons.
Development Process
during the jam we created a team from our Tud collage. we did not have any issues in the game but it is incomplete due to everyone having to go to work and not being able to complete the game
