Short description of the game
Keep That Tune is a simple game or "audio toy" where the goal is to keep humming at the same pitch.

The game is entirely sound controlled: you start a new game by humming a tune at the start screen and then you need to keep that pitch for as long as you can for a high score. After the game is over, you can restart it by clapping your hands (or snapping your finger or producing some other type of sharp sound):

Theme
There are a few ways that the game could be seen to interpret a theme. The original one is that you have to try to not "miss" the target tune to keep playing. However, one could say that the game also fits the theme because it's "missing" traditional mouse/keyboard/game controller controls.

Development Process
As a solo jam, the process was quite straightforward. From the beginning I had an idea that I wanted to do something related to sound, and so I pursued mechanics in that framework. However, getting a pitch detection algorithm to work took a surprisingly long time and as such the mechanics of the game ended up rather simple. However, I do have a few ideas how the mechanics I experimented with here could be used in a more substantial game.
