  • Hey, Really nice work on a whole. I can see you spent most your time on the idle which looks really nice! I could see that working lovely in game on that character. I think the jump and roar section is the weakest point, polishing these parts up and getting some cool timing on the height of the jump and speeding up the landing to help gravity and make it feel nicer. Also the blending back to idle would need to be cooler or work nicer. feels a bit floating back into it currently. On a whole solid work, I am sure I will see your work in games soon :)
  • A good approach to the research and development phase, and especially great to see a narrative applied to the submission for the challenge. This has clearly helped focus your work and remain faithful to the brief. The quality of the work produced for the animation states do feel game ready. Some of the poses could be pushed a little to create a more dynamic silhouette, but the posing and timing feels good. It would have been good to have seen the animation go from “Charge” to “Release” state to illustrate how this would work in a game environment Overall, this is an impressive submission and it’s great to see the use of specific audio to help sell the mood feel of your work too!
