  • Clever take on Robotron 2084/Daleks, with some similar techniques appliable to corralling/herding enemies into groupings that were easier to attack. Appreciate the broken plate vs. kids aesthetic, but what was it shooting? Parts of itself? The variety of enemies and speed became very challenging after level 5. I enjoyed the dynamic of getting buffs every level that don't impact the player's fragility. I wish there were a better way to aim and fire; with limited controls I totally understand, but the "move in enemy direction then fire" was very challenging, especially when the enemies were very speedy. Could have also gone with a concept of "bulls in a china shop where the china fights back" and the game could essentially be the same. Future ideas include adding static obstacles that may or may not cause damage, or weaponized enemies that throw "rocks" at an evasive plate. Game needs sfx but still eminently playable/replayable.
  • I loved this so much! The upgrade system was great and also kind of "broken" itself. I tried maxing out my firing rate and it got me to wave 7 when I got destroyed by a... swimsuit kid? Anyway, I loved this one.
