- I liked the idea of cutting wood for the fire, it was interesting to have to juggle between killing the creatures and cutting wood. It made something to do in between wave of enemies. Would have been useful to have some feedback on hitting the enemies, specially the bigger ones, since they would not die in one hit, it was hard to tell if you were hitting them, a sound effect or a VFX would have helped. Also nit picking for the credits, you should credit yourself with your nickname, "the creator" could be anybody.
- I think the atmosphere for this one was really well done, with the lighting, music and creatures working together. The controls were a little iffy. It was a bit tough to orient myself to attack creatures because my axe swing was so narrow and the creatures would come at weird angles. I think either a wide swing or letting you rotate 360 degrees with the mouse would improve the game feel a lot. Also it could be cool to add a little extra challenge where after chopping down a tree it's gone for good rather than just giving you infinite logs so you just always go to the closest tree. Overall, a really good entry that could be great with just a few tweaks

I like the game a lot. Great mechanics.
We had a pretty similar idea for our game so I had to try this :)
It's very cool! The sound and music fit well and I like what you've done with the light and shadows.
I found it very challenging. Didn't get past the part where the larger monsters come.
Really fun game loop! Having the fire become dimmer after taking damage is a unique way of increasing difficulty and the unsettling atmosphere!
was fun to play!
