  • I think this is an all right concept at it's core, but struggles a bit in the delivery. some of the hitboxes feel a little imprecise, specifically it seems like your ship's tractor beam or whatever has a smaller hitbox than the cone actually is and it was kind of tough to judge when you were actually going to kill a ship with it. Turning also felt a bit sluggish as well. Sound was okay, but mixed a bit poorly, sound effects were way louder than the music. Also with a lack of different enemy types it got old relatively quickly. With a few extra features added though and some extra attention paid to game feel, I think this could be really solid
  • The difficulty curve is really slow, I never felt I needed to use the "space bar" ability, the game didnt seem to get progressively harder and the game froze on me once I reached 100 points.

This was fun! It reminded me of old flash games that I used to play during class. Having the SFX in key with the music was a sleek touch. I also got the freeze bug at 100 seconds but it was fun regardless!

Thanks! Yep I agree the SFX was genius move by my friend who was responsible for all the music and audio. Again sorry about the freeze, hopefully I'll update that later. Should be an easy fix now I've more or less figured out what's causing it.

Super cute music! I love that you were able to fit something like raids in too. It looks like it doesn't like it when you score 100 points though -- the game froze for me when I did.

Hey thanks! Sorry about the game freezing.
