Briefly describe your projects key features and tech stack used
Botanic Tether integrates with Niantic’s Lightship platform, allowing precise positioning of virtual content in the physical environment. It utilizes Inward Studio to create lifelike AI characters that communicates with Users through a voice Chat to learn about the environment.

What was the inspiration for your project?
The Houston Arboretum and Natural Center is a fantastic location to experience biodiversity. I frequently run along the trails there every weekend. It’s an ideal place to connect with others and explore the wonders of nature together. However, visitors often struggle to find detailed information about the plants and animals in the area. Currently, the only available source of information is the trail signs. Inspired by this game jam, I’m developing an innovative app that allows people to interact with the environment, providing a pleasurable and immersive experience within the natural center. Through this app, users can also connect with fellow nature enthusiasts.
