  • Hi Natalia, I'd strongly recommend revisiting the blockout stage here and spending some more time there - with a focus on what the camera will see (pick one camera angle and build your scene around that). With a fantastical theme, it can be difficult to ground viewers into believing what's been built, so revisiting your reference is very crucial. Take a look at how trees are built up and their structure, and also how forests have foliage laid out and try to copy that. Currently your scene lacks much depth and variation, and it's easy to tell that you're using one asset for the tree line. By creating some variants and scaling / rotating randomly, along with pushing them out in space and scattering them, you get an easy win for creating that depth seen in the references. Once you've gotten a good blockout, you can now focus on placing secondary and tertiary assets in a more convincing manner - but always keep in mind how it looks in the final camera.
