Thanks for submitting Peace Base to the jam! We wanted to give you some honest feedback on where we think the game could grow.

The biggest thing that stood out to us was how heavily the game relied on AI. All of the art appeared to be AI-generated, and there were no animations anywhere in the game, which made the whole experience feel very static. AI tools are allowed in this jam, but when they make up nearly everything the player sees, the game loses a lot of its personality and the sense that it was crafted by hand. It also tends to cost points on presentation and polish, since the visuals end up feeling inconsistent and lifeless compared to entries with even simple hand-made assets.

Adding animation would be the quickest win here. Even basic idle movement, transitions between scenes, or small reactions to player input would bring a lot more life to the game. We'd also strongly recommend disclosing AI use on your game page going forward. It isn't required for this jam, but players tend to react much better when it's upfront, and leaving it out can hurt trust with your audience once they notice.

Our advice for your next project would be to lean more on your own work, even if it's rougher or simpler. A small, hand-made art style with a few animations will almost always feel more alive and memorable than polished AI assets that don't move.

Thanks again for taking part, and we hope to see what you make next!
