Theme Usage
Cutting loose can be used as "breaking free" and in this game you are trying to break free from the dungeon that you are held as prisoner.

Additional Notes
For some reason the game works at about 30-40 FPS in Firefox but it works fine at 60 FPS at Chrome. Oh and, keep an eye out for the secrets...
