Theme Usage
When guiding around the chicks, the player moves more slowly and can't jump as high. The chicks are too small to move like that, so the mother bird has to limit her movements. The chicks act like a 'dead weight'.

Bonus challenge: while it is possible to die, there is not really anything dying or dead in the main gameplay loop.
