Theme Usage
In the game, the story has a slow progression into despair, where it is revealed that all of the happenings was just retelling of memories
In the gameplay, randomly chosen "insanity states" happen, that damper the experience.
In progression, each level has lower visibility, is longer and is harder to beat.

Additional Notes
The game has a small easter egg that you can find a clue to in the GUIDE option of the main menu.
