  • Was not able to play the game due to it being local multiplayer but thankfully a youtube video was available for me to judge. Theme: While it fit the theme with the planet hopping I feel more could have been done to fit the theme a little better. It did include a small world so a solid middle score I felt was earned. Playability: The game looked really fun to play in local multiplayer and can easily see this being a fun party game similar to nidhogg. Creativity: I liked the uniqueness of the game and looks like a unique idea. Presentation: The game suffers from attention to some little details that would have really helped it stand apart. A fitting font for the text, a simple rotation on the planets would have really brought the game to life. The itch page is nicely laid out. Team Composition: The team had a very good balance of non game students and games dev students. The team did have 2 level 6 game students which skews the game dev experience in their favour, the team should be proud of what they achieved.
  • - Cohesive art direction. - Really liked the foundations, could be a really fun game if built upon. - Liked the health bar being above the players heads, keeps you focused on your character rather than distracted by the top corners of the screen. - Controls can be a little disorientating. When close to another planet the character freaks out a little and tries to snap to the neighbouring planet which makes me feel like I’m not fully in control of the character. When on a planet you should be locked onto that planet unless you jump as then you’ve made an active choice to move planets. This will not only keep gravity as a key mechanic, but makes it a mechanical choice: either stay on the current planet or jump as a way to launch yourself further - Projectiles should fire in the direction of the players up rather than the world up, it feels bizarre to play but also makes it frustrating to hit the other player. - Projectiles should be more interesting: have them bounce off the side of the screen or off other planets to make gameplay more exciting. it just feels a bit generic at the moment. - Could really push it forward if you had moving gravity pulling objects that moved through the map I.e. comets to make gameplay more exciting and potentially launch players across the map.
