What was the inspiration for your project?
I really like the character Captain Doty from Niantic, so I wanted to create a game featuring Doty. With the weather getting colder, I thought an ‘ice’ theme would be ideal.

I also wanted to create a challenging yet fun experience, so I thought combining a simple game environment with challenging gameplay could be interesting. Games I played before like old-school Mario, Celeste, and Super Meat Boy have inspired me in terms of delivering both a challenging gameplay experience and a fun, engaging game session. It’s a balance I particularly appreciate when discovering a new game.
