It's a fun concept, but the difficulty is a bit too high to be able to really dig into the core mechanic of exploring yourself.
I would suggest spending a little more time on mechanics (enemies can shoot through walls), balancing damage/difficulty, and possibly improving the contrast between walkable and non-walkable areas (I got stuck a number of times trying to walk through something with a similar color/look as doorways only to find out it was a wall decoration).
Also possibly adding something like damage numbers so you can see the impact of your weapon sooner than currently, where you have to count the hits/seconds until the monster dies to really judge how powerful that weapon is in your hands.
Very unique and creative idea that I hope you continue to develop. The game could use more visual cues to let the player know if hits are landing or not. I seemed to be able to be shot by enemies through walls - perhaps that was a design choice, but it was slightly frustrating. Keep working on this!
