OK, so, first off, thanks a lot for fixing the screen shaking in the webGL build, it became much easier to look at (and I also beat it on my first try without the shaking, so I get to blame the endless shaking on me losing before).

A cool idea! The flipping from 2D to 3D is awesome! The 3D tunnels sometimes not being quite straight breaks immersion a bit, but well, 'tis a game jam.

Overall, super cool that you got procedural generation working! It fits the theme really well and is a fun game to play!

Developer

Thank you very much for your feedback, and for playing! =D

Very cute game! Couldn't finish it because at some point I went into the void and felt a bit nauseous after starting at tunnels for too long.

Another bug I encountered quite frequently is the tunnels being ever so slightly tilted in one direction. If this bug is active when entering a 2D portal, the tunnel looks very weird.

The procedural generation is impressive! But it leads to some areas where nothing happens, as well as some seemingly undogeable obstacles, especially in the 2D sections.

At one point, I got all seven yarn balls, but then hit a wall cause I rotated the tunnel instead of moving the cat. Oh well...

An awesome submission with a fun, creative idea. Good job!

Whenever I got hit (my first hit was always to spikes, so I don't know if the saw also causes this) the whole screen started shaking. Especially noticeable when in 3D. Great game, very cool, but the shaking made it hard to play.

Developer

Hi, thanks for playing our game!

There's supposed to be a screen shaking effect for 0.5 seconds. Is it appearing longer than expected when you play?

Submitted

Yes, the screen shaking isn't stopping, so once I get hit, the shaking is constant.

Developer

I tried the webGL and the exe build, found out the shaking only presist in the webGL. Also worth noting is that the graphics in webGL is way inferior than the actual exe build. Sorry that we did not have enough time to test out the web build, and I encourage you to try out the downloadable build ;))

All good! I'll try out the downloadable build soonTM, prolly just over the weekend (which is when I plan to play as many of them as I can).

Had just wanted to look at yours cause it had looked great when you showed it off in the closing ceremony, and you had a webGL build for me to try out!

update: I removed camera shake in the webGL version, now taking damage won't cause camera shake in browser version.

Now I hate hairballs and circular saws.

Such a cute, cool, and trippy game! I love it :3
(I ran into the error of the cat falling into the void) ;-;

Thanks, I'm super glad you liked it!

Yeah this is a known issue and I've wasted so many hours trying to make this happen less. I managed to reduce the probability of this happening but still there's a 1% chance. So lucky you for cracking the game!
