My card drags weren't registering unless it was full screen... I really enjoyed the card art though! very nice!

I love the art on the cards, especially mothman. I had fun with the game. Fire ants are OP! Send 2 rapid fire and you are guaranteed a win

Fun idea. I like tower defense games, so it was fun to play with this and watch my pieces defend or attack.

I'm not sure why, but often my drag+drop attempts didn't seem to take affect. (For example, when I drag an attacker to an unclaimed attack position, there's a ~60% chance the game acts like I didn't attempt to place the card at all.)  It looked like I could afford to place the card, so it felt moreso like an issue with the drag+drop UI logic than a feedback issue where the game isn't telling me why the play is illegal. But whatever the case, if that were fixed up, I could see myself playing longer and enjoying it.

I think tis a little confusing at the start, but has a lot of potential. As boring as this can be sometimes, I think card games really benefit from a tutorial where they walk you through each “phase” of the game. Also, I think you need to figure out a way to get the bug theming into gameplay. Not sure what that mechanic or system looks like, because I don’t know about bugs, but if you can I think it would make your game a lot more unique. That said, this is pretty fun if you take the time to figure it out, and I think it could be its own thing if you decide to continue. Also, I like that you were able to make all the art for the cards, its a nice touch.

We did have card effects and 3d models planned for the bugs but ya know how life gets in the way and you cant do as much as you envisioned

Totally makes sense. You can only do so much during a game jam. You still did a great job.

I liked this game. It was really fun with all the different cards. I'm glad that there are other people who appreciate bugs!
