How does your game fit the theme?
It displays a quite literal take by having your character escape from an area where a hurricane is about to hit.
Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
Mostly, one was ai generated

pretty fun game, some sounds would be nice :). But onething that I'd like to point out, and idk why but sometimes I can still jump once or even twice when I'm in the air. And, correct if I'm wrong, but I think you also tried to make a walljump mechanic?
It's very interesting, I like it, this is a separate one but can you try my game?

Pretty good game actually. Could help to have some audio, but I did not have any audio in my very first game jam submission myself, it could be hard to get that in. I thought the controls were pretty smooth and worked well. The resets when dying were pretty well made and they were even reversed correctly after the certain point where you go back. There was one specific part that was sort of hard when coming back, but technically it was possible and I got past it. I was able to finish the game, and I think you did a good job on it!
Thanks, any suggestions for a future Game Jam?
I had great fun with this game! The level design was a stand out here, I loved the use of the jumping on walls to wall climb. The game was not unfair in any level and made you think outside the box to reach to the end. The game doesn't feel like it's in a storm or before the storm however. You could've added a tornado or hurricane that slowly approaches you maybe? Since you have a time limit, (I completed the game in 13 minutes), there could've been a mechanic where you have to reach the ending in 10 minutes in order to not get caught up in the storm or something like that? The game could've also had a bit of sound. All in all though, excellent game :)
Thanks for the feedback, the original idea was for it to have the screen dim slowly as you walk across the starting area, but we were on a time crunch and couldn't end up making that work out. Also it originally was going to allow you 15 minutes to beat the game, but we just replaced that with a speedrun timer because we thought it made more sense. Maybe next time we'll go with that.
Don't worry. It was still a great game with the time limitations considered. Here is a sound resource if you'd like to get into sound: https://freesound.org.
I would recommend using Audacity or any DAW to snip the unwanted sounds as well.
The speed run timer was a great idea though! It made it more intense
Also in reference to the sound I kind of forgot about that, plus I ran out of time.
