How does your game fit the theme?
The game's goal is to dive deeper... 0 for originality :D

Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
Yep! All of those pretty sprites are drawn by me! Impressive huh? Yeah I know!

This is actually a really good game, it doesn't need alot of content to be good, although every game need fullscreen, other than that i really like the game! I would also appreciate you checking out my game too: https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-10/rate/2234233

Developer

Yeah I had some issues with the ui while going fullscreen, didn't have time to fix them haha! Thanks for the great feedback! I'll check your game soon!

Love these incremental game type ideas, easy one to play to completion. Complete lack of audio feels a bit sad.

Also you would have likely been better off also making a web build, I think that is part of why less people have rated (as some ####s upload malware to itch).

Yeah I know a web version would have been great... unfortunately gameMaker has no free web exports and I didn't want to pay only for a game jam haha!

I'm also really sad about not having time to add a simple audio... it would improve the game a lot!

Ahh, I never realized that. Always thought the web export was the free one (but now realize that is just GX games 😞) and that you had to pay for the desktop ones. Regardless it was a great game and I hope more play it.

Developer

Thanks!! I bought a desktop licence 4 years ago and I can do unlimited desktop exports now!

A lovely game.

Simple, elegant graphics. A gripping story. Fantastic progression and clear communication of goals.

If only it was playable in browser too.

Thank you very much for your feedback!! The sad part about using gameMaker is that there are no free way to make a web export :(
