I loved the look of the world and how goofy/janky the powers could be, with some cleaning up of the controls this could really be something post jam
Thank you! I'm planning on tweaking it and updating it. Already added resetting instead of closing and a point counter and assume other little things
I loved the way this entry looked just something about the backgrounds and the player sprite had a nice aesthetic to it. The player being able to switch different mode to explore the level more was cool too. Also this game has rail grinding so that makes it based.
thank you! Yeah I spent so much time coding the rails and then only put one into the world :( really should have saved more time for level design.
Aw yeah Pack is Back baybee! Great title and fun game. Since the first time I saw this game I've been really impressed with the player character's animations especially, they're so readable and punchy. I really like the aesthetic of the world, it's very unique while also being nostalgic (I think PS1 era but it's so unique that it's hard to place, maybe early internet era too). I liked how it feels to explore the world and the infinite wall jumps were refreshing, it feels fun and very satisfying to bounce up walls like that.
Thank you! Really appreciate the review!
Amazing work! I loved the aesthetic and overall style of the art. Really enjoyed the large variety of modes and platforming as well. This was a really fun and well done platformer. Nice job!
thanks so much!
I really like the idea of switching between modes with different abilities. It kind of reminds me of Mega Man, and having to switch to different abilities to solve problems.
I found switching modes on keyboard and mouse to be unwieldy. I think for any kind of radial menu on desktop (without a controller), being able to select with the mouse should be standard. Because of that, I had a hard time switching modes fast enough, especially given the limited time. Regardless it's a cool idea and I have to appreciate the work to add all those different modes and sounds.
Yeah for sure. You're right about the mouse I just ran out of time. Highly recommend controller.
