  • For a 2-day project, this is great! The art is lovely and the core gameplay loop is clearly there. Would love to see this expanded!
  • Gorgeous artwork, with nice peaceful gameplay. Machinery interactions could be fleshed out to help teach about the carbon capture technology.
  • Simple run and jump platformer with an original and interesting aesthetic. The game play is a little tricky to master but not in a challenging way, more that there is a low margin for error and a control scheme that feels a little unoptimized. No instruction of what to do or title screen which could be added. Whilst the aesthetic is original and interesting it’s perhaps not suited for the kind audience at COP 26 where impact within a short period of time is critical. Also the game seems to be based on direct air carbon sequestration rather than CCS.
  • The idea was very nice and I like the aesthetic. Playability-wise it struggles a bit, but I can see the heart of the idea!
  • This game has appealing visuals and an unusual take on the briefs requirements. The tone and messaging don't feel fully aligned and realised but the concept is compelling and shows a lot of promise. The gameplay is functional although the platforming was frustrating due to collision issues.
  • Distinctive aesthetic but bleak - as the player progresses and 'saves' the environment the art change can reflect that more positively but that will make it quite art heavy. Unfortunately I had issues in playing this as there was no obvious restart when I failed to hit a platform, several collision bugs meant I got stuck and had to restart but the only way to restart was Ctrl-Alt-Delete - fixing this is a priority to make it playable. If the art style is what really pushes this as different (and should be commended) then a focus on the messaging and gameplay would really help. The game mechanics are simple to understand but the bugs/restart issues mean these would need to be addressed - as such it is difficult to know how effective the messaging is. There is some potential but I'm not sure how the gameplay can align with the messaging and it might be too art heavy for the polish timeframe of 4 weeks. That said I really liked this concept and the art.
