I'm curious to play more of this and I love the UI, but it definitely needs a tutorial. Didn't get very far before the inn started burning down. It looks like there are a ton of mechanics, so it's a lot to digest at first.
I remember seeing your game when you first started working on it (and earlier, when you were making some kind of a Paper Mario clone). It was really neat to see just how far you've come with this. Despite the bugs and what I found to be clunky interface I think this has a lot of promise. I hope to see it more polished up someday soon.
Wow, 40 minutes, I appreciate you putting so much time in! That's a lot of bugs I wasn't aware of, and some of them (like the flickering UI) don't happen for me, which is weird. I guess I have a lot of polishing to do

Really cute looking game, it seems designed with gamepad in mind, maybe it will be better to be keyboard only, unless you are going to develop an inner cursor (click, pathfinding, action) but grab item on the fly seems impossible with mouse for now. I don't know how to serve people so i just end up throwing fish and receive money.
Thanks for the feedback! Gamepad is meant to be a solid option but keyboard should work too. You can press E to interact with things that are highlighted with the green crosshairs, and items should be auto-vacuumed up (toggled off/on with ` key). Throwing food at people is how you serve them!
