The gameplay reminds me a lot of Ace Combat, maybe even improved. Biggest reason I love Ace Combat is because of the storytelling of Strangereal. I hope the storytelling in Project Wingman is as good.
however, my only gripe is the graphic requirement, but I'd say it's a fair one: I'm the one with just 256MB of vram, hahah. Not a problem on RAM since that's the only thing i've got in full (16GB, not an issue). Ingame is smooth enough to not have moments where i'd wish it has better framerate (always been ok with 30fps), but it did have a scary first impression when loading into the menu for the first time. Low settings gives it a good retro look, i gotta say.
This is really well done... Excited for the rest of the game!
Great pixel art graphics, a pretty cool Oregon trail like system mixed with lovecraftian RPG like elements. I'll keep an eye out on this game and may even get it on steam (if it ever gets completed).
There's really not much to complain about here. Love the Junji Ito references. Overall, a solid game. You did a damn good job, man.
