What was the inspiration for your project?
The concept of a portal in space that takes us to new places is very fascinating to me. I wanted to create a portal to a wonderland that celebrates the diversity of cultures and all the values they bring to our communities this festive time of the year. In these challenging times, where beliefs can clash, we often forget that we are stronger when we are united. I wanted the message to be about unity! I wanted the user to capture this moment with photos and share it with friends and family. Talking with Santa Claus can be tough, so I included a note that allows the user to send a letter to Santa to ask for what they want. This too can be shared with family and friends via a photo. Lastly, I wanted the user to leave the experience with a celebration with a light show in the sky and snowfall.
