God damn you are too cracked at making these jam games, what a fun time! This game absolutely oozed with charm, from the hilarious intro & ending sequences, the assets being literal people, actual bricks, grass, stop signs, sheep (when those walk onto screen the first time it is FUNNIEST shit), to the sheer amount of juice you crammed into this thing. It's a short sweet adventure that doesn't drag on for too long and offers quite some variety in it settings! The occasional lasers were good obstacles to dodge besides the regular enemies. But of course the meat of the game, the beat-em-up attacking, was extremely satisfying. Being able to do these insane combos whilst particles are flying absolutely everywhere was such a treat. I would say that the loop does start to get a bit repetitive towards the end (although this might just be that I'm not the fondest of beat-em-ups :p), and it's pretty easy in singleplayer once you get the gist of things. Those are only minor critiques though, the game was a blast to play altogether. Getting to see the behind the scenes of this and play it in an earlier state was also fun :) I have no idea how you made all of this in such a short amount of time. Also you brother did a great job with the music, breakcore was perfect for this.

I absolutely love the art style with this game! I think the fighting mechanics are easy to get started with but have a lot of room to develop techniques and combos which is great! Overall very juicy game!

This is amazing!! It feels super satisfying to play and is really fun. The story helps anchor you to the setting and the cutout method for using real pictures as sprites is a cool visual style choice. If I had to suggest anything, it would probably be a little more level design and possibly a reverse knockback staling system that increases knockback the more you spam the same attack, thereby preventing spamming the light air attack to stunlock and push back enemies and encouraging the cool combos that exist and the riskier moves that deal more damage. All in all awesome game!
