  • Visually this entry was stunning and quite highly polished, sound design was very good also - the VO could have been a touch cleaner as it was slow and hard to understand. While the collection of items and 'walking about uncovering narrative' has elements of adventure to it, this wasn't an adventure game. This was an FPS with some narrative elements. There was too much taken from an FPS/Survival horror genre for this to fit comfortably within the adventure genre. The story was messy and it's not clear what the delusion is as it felt rather ambiguous with so many things poorly explained and going on. There was a comparison to be drawn after picking up the assault rifle and going through the school hall and if that was intended it was told incredibly subtly. Wishing you the best of luck going forward - you're clearly very good at building highly atmospheric maps, but narrative-telling could be an area for you to develop in.
  • While the gameplay was pretty much just looking for keys which was pretty boring, the graphics were good, and the sound design was great.

I feel like this game really needs some content warnings, as a lot of the content is potentially very problematic (regarding the associations between schizophrenia and school shootings, abusive families, suicide etc).

You're right, I didn't consider that when I initially post this game. I'll add warning to it later
